The Latest Score is that. Contemporary art music, newmusic, Classical music as it lives today. Except when I dig in the stacks and play Chopin or Lady Fibble of Green Fields Castle where she has been in mourning for 23 years and sending out music quite popular with traveling quartets.
     I love Classical Music. It has outlasted Rock, Folk and Jazz for me. Not that I don't still like Bob Marley; my Olatunji tape not yet made into a CD.
     If you turn me on from 1 to 4pm EST on Tuesday afternoon, Maybe
you'll hear a swirling girling kind of ossilator. An electronic bagpipe maybe. Or the latest CD from my favorite Composer, Gwyneth Walker. This time it's Chamber music and you dream in it and leave the radio on, but I, I glide around the broadcast studio amazed she can write in any mode at all! Beautiful!
     Music on the Latest Score changes so much...that it doesn't and you get used to Ragtime piano with Matthew rub up against John Cage played on a accordion and a freebase accordion at that.  Until....
     You turn on the radio and Rachmaninoff fills all available space. Mussorgsky writes in the park and hands it in as if at school. Bach wrote slow, melodious music for small trio, did you know that? Did I remember it right? I stuff myself with an awful lot of music. You could stuff yourself too.
