Anna Litvinenko took up the cello at age seven under the guidance of her father, Konstantin, a cellist in the Miami Symphony Orchestra. By age ten she was performing, and at 12 she was accepted as a member of the orchestra’s Young Artist Program. She went on to compete in Moscow’s International Tchaikovsky Competition at age 17.
