Summer 2008 Pledge Drive

We would like to thank each and every one of you has made WOMR’s Summer 2008 Membership Drive an inspiring success!  Thanks to the volunteers, the DJ’s, our Board of Directors, and our hardworking paid staff.  Thanks to the businesses whose generosity sustained our efforts: [the Box Lunch in Provincetown, Charles Fields Publishing, Farland Provisions, Ptown Bikes, Bubala’s, Four Gables, the White Horse Inn, the Wicked Oyster, Cape Treasures, Bradford Natural Market, Perry’s Liquors, Coffey Men, and countless other fine businesses].  Most of all, thanks to you, our listeners and Business Members, who came through once again to keep us thriving.    We have raised $55,200 – more than any membership drive in the station’s history.  As we plan our expansion to Orleans, digital conversion and other important projects to better serve you, we are still gratefully accepting pledges at 508-487-2619, 1-800-921-9667, or womr.org.  If you haven’t had the chance, please consider taking a moment to join the great community collaboration that is WOMR.   Once again, thanks from all of us – to all of you – for keeping community radio alive and going strong on Cape Cod!
