 DJ Mattyb was born and brought up on the Cape, leaving in his early teens to explore the universe. During his travels he discovered a passion for music, especially electronic,trip hop,deep house,disco,funk with a twist of acid jazz and some pop. Moving back to the Cape in early 2002 he found himself really missing this music, so he made it his mission to expose it to as many people as possible. Thanks to WOMR now he can bring you positive energy, good vibes and a great musical experience, every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month. He calls his show Breaking it Down! Some nights it will be live studio mixes, some nights just straight cuts and some nights great club mixes thanks to some of his DJ friends, both local and from abroad.
